Nadal: "I am 100% sure to play Indian Wells"
Rafael Nadal has fallen behind in preparing for his return to competition. Initially planned for Doha (from 19 to 24 February), the Spaniard had to postpone his return to the circuit.
However, the former world No.1 has shown optimism for the coming weeks. He expressed great confidence in his ability to first play an exhibition with Carlos Alcaraz scheduled for March 3, then the Indian Wells Masters 1000 (from March 6 to 17).
Nadal: "I will continue to work to be ready for the Las Vegas exhibition (...)
I am 100% sure to be in Indian Wells. I do not know if it will be the last time I play there, so I want to be in Indian Wells, that's for sure. "
I felt a certain discomfort in recent weeks and I am a bit limited (to play).
At this stage, each setback I suffer, each injury, is a hard blow not only tennis and physical, but also mental."
