After a relapse in her back injury, Badosa gives updates: "I will do everything to come back as soon as possible"
Paula Badosa was forced to withdraw from the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 in Mérida after feeling pain in her back.
An injury that had already kept her sidelined for many months during the 2023 season.
Two days after this withdrawal and before the start of Indian Wells, the Spaniard wanted to give updates on her Instagram account, not specifying the duration of her absence:
"Hello everyone. Thank you for all your messages and support. I had to withdraw from my match due to lower back pain, but I am already working to come back in shape.
I will do everything to return to the court as soon as possible, with more energy than ever."
