Acapulco event will have six top players in its field including Novak Djokovic, a Next Gen Star won't be there. Alexander Zverev decided to take a break from competition and so won't play in the Mexican event. The German player, after winning the title in Montpellier defeating Richard Gasquet in the final, lost early in Rotterdam and Marseille against Dominic Thiem and Nicolas Mahut, and so he will take a rest and practice ahead of Indian Wells, the first important event after Australian Open where all the top players will play. Zverev never played in Acapulco, and so he will not lose any points.
